Life
University successfully defended it's CR3 title by beating South Side Irish 66-8
and Pearly City 27-6!!

playoffs! LIFE RUGBY #1 in the CR3 USA Rugby Div 1.
History
Since its beginning in 1980, the Life University Rugby Club, in Atlanta, GA, has grown to be
recognized as one of the United States’ premier teams. In only its second year
of competition, Life was crowned as the national collegiate runner-up. In 1984,
1985, and 1986 the club was named National Graduate & Professional Schools
Champion. In 1986 Life left the college division and entered premier club
competition which features the country's best rugby clubs. During the period of
regional championships Life Rugby advanced to the USA East Championships every
season, winning the title in 1987 and 1994. In 1987 the club finished third in
the nation and runner-up in 1994 with a record of 33-1. In 1997 Life became a
charter member of the USA Rugby Super League. In the summer of 2000 Life claimed
their first ever Super League National Championship. In 2002 Life re-joined USA
Rugby’s Men's Division I and has gone to the Tournament of 16 every year.
In the last 2 years Life University Rugby has returned to its roots as a center
for young elite rugby playing students.

is the premier Atlanta Rugby team and one of the only clubs in the United States fortunate enough to have a
university athletic department offer rugby scholarships.
Life University provides our team with both rugby and academic
student athlete scholarships in graduate and undergraduate studies.

team focus points to a Life Rugby tradition of lifetime well being and
overall fitness with a commitment to the greater good of the University

News:
- Life defend it's CR3 title with a convincing
66 - 8 win over South Side Irish on Saturday 4/26 followed by a strong
performance against a good Pearl City side beating them 27 - 6 on
Sunday 4/27.
- By winning the CR3, Life now takes the #4
seed into the National tournament in Austin, TX starting on May 17,
2008.
